GRIT IQ LAB
Privacy & Parent Information
Updated September 24, 2026
GRIT IQ Lab, operated by Kariane Cerato, uses information families provide to respond to inquiries and plan and deliver mental performance coaching. Questions about this notice or a child's information can be sent to GritIQLab@gmail.com.
Information families provide
The online parent intake asks for the athlete's name, age, grade, sport and team, parent contact details, goals, coaching preferences, and permission choices. The athlete introduction and mental skills check-in asks about what is going well, what the athlete wants to work on, and topics such as confidence, focus, pressure, routines, and responding to mistakes. A family may choose to send an email inquiry. Please do not include medical records or other information that is not needed for coaching in either form.
How information is used
Kariane reviews responses to contact families, plan sessions, tailor coaching exercises, and discuss progress. GRIT IQ Lab does not post individual responses publicly, sell them, or use them for advertising. We do not share an athlete's form answers with a team, school, or other coach without parent or guardian permission, except when required by law.
Google Forms and website inquiries
The parent intake and athlete check-in are forms provided by Google LLC. Google collects and processes information submitted through Google Forms; its own Privacy Policy also applies. Kariane Cerato is the only person currently authorized to access responses to the GRIT IQ Lab forms. The inquiry tool on this website prepares an email in your own email app; the website does not submit that draft as a form response.
Parents and younger athletes
A parent or legal guardian should complete the online parent intake first. After that, parents and athletes complete the online check-in together before the first session; for athletes under 13, use the parent's email address. Parents may contact us to ask what information we have about their child, request access or deletion, or withdraw permission for future collection or use. We will take reasonable steps to confirm that a request comes from the athlete's parent or guardian before releasing information.
How long information is kept
Form responses are used while coaching is being arranged or provided. GRIT IQ Lab will delete form responses within 12 months after the last coaching session or inquiry, unless a longer period is needed to meet a legal obligation or address a specific dispute. Families may request deletion sooner by emailing GritIQLab@gmail.com.
